Accessibility at Friends of Mill Ridge Park

Friends of Mill Ridge Park (FMRP) is committed to making our programs, events, and online resources accessible to all.

In partnership with the Tennessee Disability Coalition and Belmont University’s Occupational Therapy Doctoral (OTD) program, we completed a website accessibility assessment and implemented an ongoing improvement plan. Updates made or underway include improved color contrast, clearer instructions for interactive features, keyboard-only navigation, larger click targets, and consistent accessibility language across our site and communications. We have also integrated alt text for instructional images and added a clear option to request accommodations when registering for events or contacting our team.
