Families in Parks with Unearthing Joy

Come join us for a family hike on Saturday, September 24th from 10:30-12:30PM at Mill Ridge Park! This hike is for all families and age groups. The trail can accommodate wagons. The walk is easy to moderate on grassy terrain involving hills and stream crossings.

Families in Parks is an initiative of Unearthing Joy to encourage families with young children to explore different parks in the Nashville area through a variety of outdoor recreation activities. Unearthing Joy is an organization that creates culturally-inclusive, nature-based programming for families and communities.

Sturdy hiking/closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing/layers are highly recommended. A portable toilet is available onsite.
